Yesterday I made a survey for our group to pass out. I am hoping to have the information turned into me by friday, or sunday to start breaking the information down.

I would like to bring the problem of social networking privacy to the table and explain some of the key problems people are having with these programs. MySpace and Facebook are allowing younger aged kids to be in the same social networking areas as adults. I see this as a problem, as it is every parent’s nightmare to have their child talking with a stranger. I would like to expand on the idea that these networks should be limiting their clients to certain age groups, and leaving adults and younger aged children in different networks.

Opening:

1. As I am currently a student in Building Construction Management at Purdue University, I feel that I am well qualified for the Construction Management Intern position available in California.

2. I have enjoyed my residential classes this past year, and have found that Pulte is a hard working company that cares for its employees as much as it does for its customers.

3. I learned of the position while viewing the company's website, and felt that I would make a great candidate for the internship position.

Body:

1. I grew up knowing the Pulte name, as many of your neighborhoods are located around the Chicagoland area.

2. The quality of your homebuilding is something that I would like to learn, and I feel that I can add to this quality.

3. Some of the skills that I possess are my great work ethic, I strive for perfection, and enjoy hard work.

4. I feel that the experiences I have had will also add to the company's success.

I have worked for 4 years at NAPA auto parts, at this job I learned customer service, how to handle disgruntled customers, and how to sell product.

I also worked as a construction laborer in the summer of 2008, learning the basics of framing and using panelled walls.
