The final draft has been created.  I wrote the "methods used" section of the usability report and I think I made it concise and informational.  The overall report looks very professional and I think once again it was a group success!

This week we conducted the usability testing.  Zach made changes to the documentation after our peer editing was completed.  However, in the testing we at first gave people the original draft.  It worked out well in the end because we had about half the users use the old documentation and half the new.  This allowed us to compare whether or not our changes made a difference.  The testing was very successful we got some great compliments and also some constructive criticism on the product.

For week three we had to book a place to hold our testing.  We all agreed on a date and found a room that had the equipment we need.  Then, we put together our rough draft of documentation.  Everyone did quality work and we should not have much to fix after peer editing.  At first I was unsure how much detail to put in the steps but I think I found a good medium that should be very helpful to the typical user of this computer program.

• When you met and where:  we met on Sunday in the same room we have class in.

This week I was able to play around with the program more in order to become more acquainted with the steps we are going to document.  Since I was very unfamiliar with the program, this was a necessary action to take.  Also, this allowed me to figure out other parts of the program that we can insert into the documentation if we need to lengthen the documentation.  I am ready to now start writing the documentation on Saturday.

• When you met and where:  we only needed to meet in class this week because we got all of the storyboard work done last Friday.
