At Agora INS I Created multiple web based applications using multiple technologies.. In addition I used Internet Information Server and ASP for server development. This lead to me becoming proficient in Used Visual Studio 6 for creating COM and COM+ objects, databases such as SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 8 and 9i. Also, I created Java applets to enhance web application functionality. While creating web applications I used cascading style sheets and JavaScript for client side development.

I have worked in the corporate setting before as a document analyst. I was in charge of scanning documents into the computer and saving them on the server to free up space in the office. Once scanned I threw them away. This does not involve my major in a big way, but I got a good idea of how a buisness setting works.

My greatest and most relevant experience to my future profession has had to be my time working in the Evolutionary Psychology and Biology lab here at Purdue. I got to closely work with and learn from some of the best professors at Purdue. I was able to be a part of every step from start to finish of a real research study and learned how to interpret results.

My greatest experience was my internship at GE Aviation. I worked in the jet engine assembly and testing facility in Ohio. I did everything from assemble engines, run and engine through its test cycle, and improve the supply chain. The education I received was very good in that it supplemented my education at school. I had the opportunity to apply my skills.

A relevent experience I have had would be my experience working with patients in a hospital setting. I currently am a diet aide at Saint Elizabeth Hospital and counsel patients with their diet choices and assist them with anything they may need. It is a good hands on experience for what I hope to do in the future.
