This week in class and in one out-of-class meeting, our group decided on the topic for our documentation and created the storyboard to be presented in class on Wednesday. The group met and decided which screen shots would be included within the PowerPoint presentation. Each member also started thinking about how to recruit 3-4 people each for the user testing, once a draft of the documentation is completed.

This week my group decided upon a topic for our third project.. we are doing a documentation on using webmail and creating email lists. We created our storyboard this weekend and outlined the steps that will be in our documentation. Next week we will work on our documentation and compose a rough draft.

I did some research for our project by navigating the site and looking for certain eJournals, articles, and databases.  I tried to target areas where users may run into problems.

Entry One

This week I was responsible for the final compilation of the proposal memo. I will also be responsible for the proofing and editing of the powerpoint slide for the upcoming presentation.

This week our group submitted the project proposal.  We plan to create user documentation for Purdue Webmail.  Sunday we will have a meeting to work on the storyboard that is due next wednesday.

This week we came up with our documentation idea.  I created the Gantt chart that will help track our progress.  We will meet next week to start our storyboard that will be presented on Wednesday.

This week wrote part of the first part of the project

This week:

-changed project topic from iMovie to Origin 6.1

-wrote memo-did the portion on our strategy

-created storyboard-created the basic outline of procedure steps adn visual

This week, we wrote up our proposal.  Now, I am going to make the storyboard.  The storyboard will have text describing the steps.  It will also have images captured by Aaron.  Then, Stew and Sam will edit and proofread the storyboard before we turn it in on Wednesday.
