For this week, I had already done my research in terms of the content of the paper.  At this point, the main thing that I will be focusing on is editing the paper.  For sources, I have used many of the articles provided in class, including the white paper guides.

For my personal responsibilities, I am in charge of editing, and after the document is complete, I have to work with Stewart to put the powerpoint together.  I also have been coordinating the tasks involving the completion of the handouts and the presentation.

Added more human rights violation cases and more information regarding olympics in the historical background section.

This week I helped in finalizing the white paper by editing and creating the PDF.  I will also be creating the final bound copy of the paper.  For the next meeting I will have all power point presentation slides complete. 

After writing my section of the paper and combined the other group members parts we made a final draft. We are going to have the copy bound on saturday. Also by Sunday I am making up my power point slides and will have my part of the presentation ready. Our group is going on monday so we will want to have everything precise and ready to go with no flaws.

Entry Four

During this week I turned in my portion of the rough draft, and after the peer review, performed substantial revisions on the white paper. I will be working together with Aaron to develop the powerpoint presentation and the associated handout.

This week the group finished the draft and created an appropriate cover page, table of contents, and works cited. After the peer review, the draft was revised. Presentation organization began, and I began my section of the Powerpoint presentation.

I wrote my parts of the paper and participated in the formatting and design of our rough draft.  We're really just ironing out little issues right now - I've got to alter the citation methods.  But after that, I think we'll have a really good paper.

Well, our rough draft is done, now just editing and making it look pretty.  I got to have some fun creating our visual:  I vandalized a Wikipedia page.  Of course, I changed it back right away, but it was still fun to go to the Wikipedia page for the color blue and see the message "the color to the right is actually red, not blue.  We apologize for the inconvenience."
