Topic Proposal: Ebay needs to be regulated

EBay has become such a part of the pop culture that the owners need to take some kind of responsibility for the actions users take on their website.  A minimal amount of the billions the company makes is spent on making the website safer or making their help desk more effective.  Scamming on high end computer hardware has become such a joke that EBay is rarely used to purchase such things as laptops and monitors.  There is a lack of responsibility by the owners for the many scam rings, rip offs, and cons being committed unhindered daily on EBay.  It has become part of the experience to deal with the chance of a bad transaction.  This is not tolerated at any other place of commerce except on EBay.
